Ammon's co-worker took some photos of him at his shop. I think it's really AWESOME since they don't let visitors in the wherehouse for fear of damaging eyes with the welders. ... I SO PROUD!!
We're cute, we're fuzzy and we love to hybernate!!! This is the Teller Bear Cave. All are welcome who bring food or fun!

TSO CHUTE!!!
Sick Puppies
I know this looks really disturbing, but well, it is! Our little puppies got sick with parvo, which is a life-threatening illness. It attackes the immune system and destroys the gastrointestinal system from the inside-out, so the puppy throws up and has bloody diahrea. Most dogs don't die from parvo, but from dehydration or pneumonia. Well, since parvo is one of the most indestructable viruses out there (can last in a stable environmental for up to two years), both of our puppies got it at the same time. Meeka was the first, so we put her in the hospital for observation and IV's full of antibiotics and what-not. The day we got Meeka back, LiLu got sick, so we ended up having to do in-home care (cheaper than in-hospital care). The picture above is part of her fluid treatment. We put the IV in the scruff of her neck and squeezed a bag of fluid under her skin so she basically had a camel hump that her body would eventually absorb. Freaky, huh!?!?!?!?
All better!

Meeka
Meeka is a big girl; another Rottperd! She was twice as big as LiLu (her sister) when we got her and continues to surprise us with her growth. Now at 3 1/2 months, she's more than 30 pounds and can almost reach my chest on her hind legs. We got her for protection and I'm sure will be no dissapointment!!

LiLu

This is LiLu, a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix (or as I like to call it, a German Rottperd). She was the runt of a litter of fourteen and just about the cutest black furball on the planet. Her breeder babied her a lot the first few weeks, so she is most content asleep in someone's lap. These are pictures of her at 8 weeks and today (3 1/2 months).
Foxy
This is our little Foxy. She is a Shib
a Inu/Corgi mix we got from the Humane Society about a year ago. She's as well behaved as any animal could be and has proven to be a very good watchdog. Though the tips of her ears barely pass my kneecaps, she has convinced every stranger, even Dad Reed that nobody is allowed in the backyard without her permission!! Of course there's not a mean bone in her body, but trespassers don't need to know that.
