Kaleb is fourteen months now and with that comes his ability to learn much more quickly, but it also means he wants to be more independent. Most of the time both of these are a lot of fun, except in church. He's starting to become a pill at church and I've become one of those moms that just can't wait till we can leave him in nursery so I can actually listen to more than three consecutive minutes of a lesson.
Anyway, below are some fun videos and photos to commemorate his growth:
Kaleb has broadened his fashion horizons by trying new things... like hats...
... and Minnie Mouse ears
Here he is refining his skills at Rock Band 2!
Exploring the world one beetle at a time.
And of course, with time comes Kaleb's illnesses. A few weeks ago, Kaleb had some random stomach virus and this past week he came down with a viral infection in his mouth. His gums are nasty-swollen and he's pretty much made all of his meals become milk and yogurt. He hasn't been sleeping very well, so the other night he conked out on the couch while Ammon was watching TV. Poor sick little boy!!
Also, we got a video of Kaleb interacting with our little friend Dave. For those who don't know (or just need a reminder), Dave is a little mouse puppet I got many years ago

that seems to bring joy to all children everywhere.
I finally brought him out for Kaleb the other day and joy ensued.

Kaleb's laugh is priceless! I'm glad you guys had a fun family night. It must be an adventure to live with two little boys all the time. :) Hope all is going well with school etc...Looking forward to catching up with you soon!
Shoot! I love the blow dart! I'm sure Chris would- he brags he can shoot a fly. LOL I love Kaleb's laugh! Glad you finally got Dave out to show Kaleb- cute video! Hope the Butterbear gets better real soon!
I, too, like my fellow commenters before me, love Kaleb's laugh, but my real question for you is: how did you train Kaleb to stay inside the boundary of the hula-hoop during the blow darts?!?
