Anywho, just wanted to have the top entry for today let everyone know there are a LOT of posts for today, so don't stop after just a few and think you're done! Oh no, Twould be a mistake , my friend! We have had internet and computer issues, and I haven't been able to post till now, so lots to make up for! Hope you enjoy!!

Photo Shoot-Theme: Blankets

Another Photo Shoot with my little boy. This one is more fun than the more serious (sleepy)wedding ring one, although it wasn't originally meant to be. Oh well, again, I had fun!!

What you guys looking at?!?!

Come wid me to dee CAZBA!!

Blankets make me sleepy!!

I'm DROWNING!!

Could I BE any cuter?!?!

In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle, the Tiger Sleeps Tonight!!

Everybody now!! AWEEEEEEE!!

Don't Ask Me Why!

Ammon took this sequence of pictures the other day and when I was looking through the camera, they made me laugh so hard I cried, so I'm posting them for your benefit. They may not be funny to you, but oh dang, they're funny to me!!! The best part is Kaleb's face at the end, almost like he's growling at his Daddy!!

Da Thumb

Since I have known him, Ammon's pet peeve has always been thumb-suckers! He has ranted on about it since we got pregnant that "Our child won't be a thumb-sucker!!" I'm not particularly a fan of it, but hadn't really made my opinion yet since all babies are different. Some prefer the thumb, some prefer the binky and others do fine without either or with some other item... Well, it finally happened... we took Kaleb's mittens off and what do you think he did...

Ammon's hoping that he will poke himself in the eye enough times that he will associate pain with the thumb... I'm not holding my breath though!

Happy Little Cousins

While visiting my parents' on the third of July, Kaleb got to spend time with two of his cousins Mark and Mia. Both of whom were very taken with him!!

One Whole MONTH!!

Kaleb became one month (although now he's more than five weeks!), so we had his one month doctor's appointment. He weighed 10 lbs, 15 oz, and had grown to 22 nd 1/2 inches, which is an exact match for the 75th percentile. Big ole boy!! He's really started to grow out of his clothes, so I have a photo of him the day we came home from the hospital to compare with this week. He's wearing the same onesie, so it gives me good perspective on how much he's grown. Note that I could only button one button and how he has his hand in front of his face in shame that his mom is subjecting him to such ridicule!! Plus, I took a picture of another outfit that I think is so cute that he won't be able to wear much longer. It has ducks and bears on it. HOW PERFECT IS THAT?!?!

4th of July, Shmorth of July!

Okay, I don't mean to say that we shouldn't celebrate Independence Day. Obviously it is a significant holiday and I respect those who are ever so patriotic! However, this year we decided to celebrate the 3rd of July! Why? Well, Kaleb had his one-month birthday, so I made a little strawberry shortcake. AND it has been three years since and Ammon and my first kiss! We even went back to my parents' front porch where it all began!!

A little goes a long way

In our house, we have what is normally called an Arizona room or Sun room, or in our case, a filled-in-back-porch-that's-kinda-pointless-except-for-storage room. There are multiple problems with this room, like that there is no a/c going into the room and the large windows are single pane and there is water damage because the previous owners didn't roof properly... plus there is the stained-carpet memories from when two of our dogs had diahrea. So it's become the bain (bane?) of my house-cleaning existence and has always been such an eye-sore. We have wanted to put french doors up to help keep the heat from the rest of the house but still let some light in. However, since we don't have $300+ to spend on something like that, it just hasn't happened. SO my parents were kind enough to buy us some curtains to at least help a little with the heat AND to keep me from cringing every time I see that back room. I think they look very nice and actually help with the heat more than I thought they would!!

Goin' to the Temple...

Ammon's brother Rylan went through the temple last week in preparation for his mission. He will be going to Peru, but I can't remember the exact area. Anyway, afterwards, we all met at Mi Amigos... I guess Mexican is the closest you'll get to Peruvian food around here!
