Our Easter this year was pretty involved. First we had a ward Easter Egg hunt the Monday before. Kaleb and Sasha were part of the younger group, and they were each allowed to hunt for 12 eggs. Kaleb had his found within seconds, grabbing the first 12 he could find. Sasha, on the other hand was much more selective. She would step on other eggs just to get to the one she had picked out for her basket. It's pretty obvious from this photo they had a blast!!
Then Saturday night we did a little egg hunt with my sister's kids at our house.
Sasha's favorite part about that was that my sister had filled some of the eggs with mini-rubber-duckies. She became a little obsessed with them from then on.
And of course, there is the adorable Easter outfits for Sunday morning.
Then the Monday after, my mother-in-law organized a egg hunt for her 3 grandkids. This egg hunt was awesome because she had let the grass in the backyard overgrow so all the eggs instantly disappeared as we tossed them around. It made finding all 80-something of them a little more challenging.
Some of the eggs in the hunt were confetti-filled, and the kids had a blast making a mess of the kitchen after the hunt. Good times!!
And of course, the joy of eating every tiny piece of candy over the next 3 weeks.
