4th of July, Shmorth of July!

Okay, I don't mean to say that we shouldn't celebrate Independence Day. Obviously it is a significant holiday and I respect those who are ever so patriotic! However, this year we decided to celebrate the 3rd of July! Why? Well, Kaleb had his one-month birthday, so I made a little strawberry shortcake. AND it has been three years since and Ammon and my first kiss! We even went back to my parents' front porch where it all began!!

Very patriotic colors, even if the celebrations were for something else. Just think, it's your freedom from living in this country that allowed you to kiss your hubby on the front porch, choose who to marry, how to dress your child, and what foods to fix and how to celebrate the holiday in the first place. I'd say you did a bang-up job celebrating your freedoms!

That's so fun! I'm glad you got to celebrate Kaleb's month old day and also the anniversary of your first kiss. Happy 3rd of July!
