So Long, Silverado

Last week was one of ups and downs and amongst the downs was our sarcastically wonderful trip to surrender our Chevy Silverado. Since Ammon's shop has been unable to give him work for the last six weeks, we have been unable to make any payments on our truck since then. So four days after we got home from the hospital, we got a call from AZ State Credit Union notifying us that we had 24 hours to surrender the vehicle or we would be charged $600 to have it repossessed. We had been going in circles with the stupid bank since our layoffs 7 months ago, and I promise you no matter how great an interest rate they would be able to give us in the future, there is no way we will ever work with them again!!!! Plus, I'm gonna make sure all of my friends know that AZ State Credit Union is one of the worst lenders with which to work! Anywho, so a farewell "Cheers" to my husband's dream car!!

Never work with AZ Credit Union ... check.

By the way, I'd like to echo that statement for Wachovia Dealer Services (the lender for our Dodge Caliber). Awful, awful, awful.

Hopefully the people weren't rude about it. That just bites the big one! What boogers!
